2018 Best Beauty Products

My love of beauty products is a well-known fact among my friends. Whether it's a new foundation to try or learning that putting acids on my face is a good thing, I've got a weakness for anything that's related to beauty. Thankfully, I also happen to have a job that allows me to test out a lot of really great products. While not all of these products were new in 2018, they were new to me, and I fell in love. If you're on the lookout for what to buy in 2019, here are my 2018 best beauty products.

Peach Slices Starlit Glow Highlighting Moisturizer

What makes this $10.99 moisturizer so special? First, it's a great daily hydrator. It's not heavy or sticky, and it won't make you feel like a grease ball. However, the best part (outside of the price) is the glow that it gives your skin. Once smoothed on (or patted if you want to go true K-Beauty), it gives your face a lit from within glow that's beautiful with or without makeup. Get it here for $10.99.

Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Hair Masque

How good is Coco & Eve? Well, I did an entire blog post about it, so there's that. This ultra-nourishing coconut and fig hair mask doesn't just smell amazing. It's also incredible at smoothing flyaways, combatting frizz, and giving dry hair some its hydration back. Get it here for $44.90.

Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

If you haven't tried putting acids on your face, it's not as serious as it sounds. AHAs or Alpha Hydroxy Acids are used to resurface and exfoliate leading to brighter skin with less hyper-pigmentation and texture. There are different types of AHAs, and one of them is glycolic acid. Basically, it's the queen bee of AHAs thanks to its small molecule size that allows it to penetrate deeply into the skin. If you're having issues with texture, fine lines and wrinkles, or basically anything, give this baby a try, but build up your tolerance over time. You are putting an acid on your face after all. Get it here for $90. Yes, the price sucks, but it'll last forever!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette

Looking for the perfect palette for all occasions? Meet the ABH Soft Glam Palette. This beauty can do everything from the perfect daytime look to a gorgeous warm brown smoky eye. It's incredibly versatile, and the pigmentation and blendability of ABH shadows are next level. Get it here for $42.

GlowRecipe Blueberry Bounce Cleanser

Honestly, GlowRecipe's entire line could have been on this list, but their Blueberry Bounce Cleanser may just be their most universal product. With its gel texture and inclusion of hyaluronic acid, it's the perfect way to clean practically any skin type. It won't strip the skin nor will it leave behind a film. Plus, it smells like blueberries. Get it here for $34.

Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder

I have been a Coty Airspun woman since, well, probably birth. Now, though, there's a new powder on my radar. Beauty Bakerie's Flour Powder is the finely milled, never drying powder of my dreams. Not only is it great for baking my undereyes, but it's perfect for setting my whole face. I'm obsessed with it AND Beauty Bakerie's incredible founder Cashmere Nicole (who I interviewed for Bustle. She's such an inspiration!). Get it here for $24.

Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Unbutton

Fenty Beauty can do no wrong. Seriously. From their Pro Filt'r Foundation formula and shade range to their bomb highlighters, the brand is golden. Their collection of Stunna Lip Paints are fire. For me, I love a great nude, and that means Unbutton is my favorite, but if you love bold and daring lip looks try Uncensored or Uninvited. The formula is great no matter what color you choose. Get it here for $24.

EcoTools Perfecting Blender Duo

I tried my first BeautyBlender in 2018, and that's why the EcoTools sponge is on this list. I've never bought into the hype of the classic pink sponge, but I decided to give it a go in 2018. Never again. My EcoTools sponge is forever my holy grail, and I'll never use anything else ever again. At $9.99 for a full size and a mini, the price can't be beat. Get it here.

Farmacy Beauty Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

2018 was the year of the double cleanse for me. If you haven't heard of double cleansing, it's where you use an oil based cleanser first to remove any oil-based impurities and makeup from your skin before going in with a water based cleanser to actually clean your face. It's a game changing routine, and Farmacy Green Clean is my oil cleanser of choice. It comes in a balm form that basically smells like a lemon-lime sucker and won't leave a greasy feeling on your skin once you rinse it off. There's a reason it won an Allure beauty award. Get it here for $34.

TonyMoly Pureness 100 Hyaluronic Acid Mask Sheet

If you haven't discovered the miracle of hyaluronic acid yet, get ready. This naturally occurring acid in your skin can hold up to six times its weight in water and acts as a humectant to maintain moisture levels. That's what makes this mask so great. If you're feeling dry or dehydrated, you need this affordable mask now. Get it here for $4.

If you want to up your beauty game in 2018, these beauty products may be a good way to start (at least in my humble opinion).
